The Cabin at Quail Crossing, a 720 sf redwood and stone cabin, has a great-room living area with vaulted open beam ceiling. It has hardwood flooring throughout, knotty wood cabinets, stone hearth gas fireplace in great room, one bedroom and full bath featuring built in cabinets, large soaking tub and an overhead shower. Indoor/outdoor speakers allow guests to seamlessly move from the great room to the covered deck porch overlooking the mini three-hole putting green with views of forests and mountains beyond.

A barbeque grill is provided to compliment the indoor/outdoor mountain lifestyle.

The dining room and covered spacious deck patio provide commanding views of the picturesque, glacier-carved meadows of Wagoner Valley and Ridge at the foot of Quail Crossing.

The estate is located in Coulterville, CA which Reader’s Digest just rated as the “Nicest place in America.”

Yosemite National Park is 24 mi away to the East (about a 30 min drive). Groveland is a 20 min drive North and offers a quaint Sierra town with cute shops, restaurants, and the Iron Door Saloon (the oldest bar in California).

At Quail Crossing, meadowlands and farmlands of the valley are framed by forests of ponderosa pines and black oak. Guests won't see neighbors--unless they are transported by wings or four legs. Wildlife abounds.

Rush hour is not heard anywhere near this refuge. Do, however, expect the sound of wind whispering through trees--known as psithurism. Guests will search again for that word when posting pictures of this unforgettable property.

Cell phone reception is limited at the property and surrounding areas offering its guests the opportunity to truly escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. Please plan to use our satellite WIFI for placing cell phone calls and accessing the internet. Inclement weather such as snow and rain can affect internet access. The property is self-sufficient with gas generators programmed to automatically power the home when outside power is cut-off.

The property faces a lovely country road and pastures which are a delight to walk or bike down as you encounter flocks of wild turkey, cattle, deer, bobcats, and foxes. Care to go for a hike? Head out and explore the Stanislaus National Forest which abuts the East side of the property.

Revel in the abundant wildlife that share this property and call it home. Watch the namesake quail scurry to and fro. Listen to the coyotes voices bounce and echo off Wagoner Ridge. Lucky guests might spy the resident bobcat sunning herself in the meadow below. Deer and rabbit abound. Watch and listen to the wild turkeys roosting in nearby trees as the sun sets. Ever hear a wild turkey taking flight, their wings beating the air, striking ponderosa pines fifty feet above the forest floor? It sounds like a helicopter.

When darkness gathers, oh how the stars do shine. Yes, that is the Milky Way.

GUEST ACCESS

Excluding yards and grounds around each vacation home, most of the 7.5 acres and amenities are available to all guests staying on property. Exceptionally maintained paved driveways, stately concrete patios and paths provide access to much of the property and shared entertainment amenities.

Most of the retreat's amenities and outdoor activities are open to anyone staying on property.
*Hot tub (located at the Bunkhouse)
*Bunkhouse game room and media screening room with the 10,000 game cabinet arcade
*Bocce ball, archery range (supply own equipment), fire pit, and putting green

Guests find that their favorite area of the property just so happens to be the space they occupy at that distinct moment--that is, until the path leads to the next perfect spot. It is then they discover the magic of Quail Crossing.

The putting green is available to all property guests from 11 AM until 4:00 PM for those not staying in the primary residence and cabin, respectively. Hours are limited due to the proximity to the cabin and primary residence.

OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE
